Itinerary Outline

Day 1 – Arrival To Rabat – Transfer To The Hotel

Our Marrakech desert tour will start from Rabat when we pick you up from the Rabat Airport and transfer you to your hotel, where you will be staying. Once settled, we will take you to see the Royal Palace located at the end of the mechouar (a large parade ground). This palace dates back to 1864 and is the principal residence of the King of Morocco.You will also visit the fortified Oudayas Kasbah, Chellah Gardens, Hassan Tower and the Mohamed V Mausoleum. Overnight in Rabat ( all the tour packages are flexible and depends on your arrival time . If you arrive in the evening we will transfer you to your hotel  we explore Rabat in the next morning )

Day 2 – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez

After breakfast in your hotel, we will depart from Rabat towards Fes . On our way we will visit  Meknes, one of the four Imperial cities, where you will visit the famous El Hedim Square, the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail and the Old Medina before arriving to Volubilis to visit of the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. The ruins remained substantially intact until an earthquake devastated them in the mid-18th century. Later on continue our journey to Fez where you will spend the night .

Day 3 – A full day to explore Fez

After you enjoy your breakfast you will explore with a local guide the biggest city of the country after Casablanca with a population of approximately 1 million.This city is a the former capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fez el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall, where are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fez-Jdid or the new Fes, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter and the Ville Nouvelle the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation. Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies, the oldest university in the world is located; The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859. This University is still operating nowadays. Overnight in a Riad / Hotel

Day 4 – Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga

After having breakfast at your hotel, your tour continues with an early departure from Fes. We leave Fez to Ifrane which is  called The Little Switzerland of Morocco we will have a stop to discover this amazing city . Our next stop will be Azrou visiting the cedar forest which  will be a good opportunity to take pictures of the timberland in Morocco and the wild monkeys before we continue to Midelt where you have lunch .  After you enjoy your lunch we will  continue our journey to ziz valley where we will have a stop for taking pictures of the valley in a panoramic view. Then Erfoud on our way to Merzouga  .  Overnight in a hotel

Day 5 – Merzouga – Khamlia  – Erg Chebbi

After you enjoy your breakfast you will explore the area of Erg Chebbi and the nearby villages such as Khamila which is a little village in the desert by the biggest dunes in Erg Chebbi where you will visit a Berber family and listen to the Gnawa music played by the locals .  Later on we will comeback to the hotel in Merzouga and prepare for your journey to Erg Chebbi to take a camel ride to the desert camp where you will enjoy a  night under the stars.

Day 6 – Merzouga – Erfoud – Todgha Gorges – Ouarzazate

The staff will wake you up early in the morning to enjoy watching the beautiful sunrise , before we ride the camels back to the hotel in Merzouga where you get to take a refreshing shower and we after you enjoy your breakfast we will then start our journey towards Ouarzazate. We will visit the canal of irrigation in Jorf , After that we will continue to todgha gorges where we will have a stop to visit the highest gorges in Morocco . Then we will across the valley of roses , visit the cooperative of women where you can find all kinds of rose products and bio . We will arrive to Ouarzazate in the afternoon . Overnight in a hotel .

Day 7 – Ouarzazete – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech

After having your breakfast we will visit Kasbah Taourirte and the cinema studios of Atlas and CLA Studios where many movies were produced such as lawrence of arabia , the gladiator, Prince of Persia and many more… right after we depart to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou through Tizi Ntichka pass an elevation of 2260m . Visit the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is a spectacular fortified village . After we continue our journey towards Marrakesh , You will stop in Taddart to have lunch at a Berber village in a panoramic restaurant. After you enjoy your lunch we will continue to Marrakech . Arrival to Marrakech will be in the evening . Overnight in a hotel

Day 8 – Full Day To Explore Marrakesh

After you enjoy breakfast at the hotel you will start a guided tour of Marrakech with a local guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, night at a Riad in the Medina. Overnight in riad / hotel

Day 9 – Marrakech – Essaouira Day Trip – Marrakech

After breakfast we will depart for a day trip to Essaouira . Essaouira is extremely relaxing with its white washed houses with painted shutters, artisan’s workshops, boatyards and fishermen provide a marked contrast to Marrakesh. After lunch you have free time for some shopping, a relaxing walk along the beach or maybe a camel ride, a walk to the harbour and ramparts and perhaps a boat trip before you drive back to Marrakesh . Overnight in a riad / hotel in Marrakech

Day 10 – Marrakesh – Transfer To The Airport

After you enjoy your breakfast we will transfer you to the airport before your departure flight and this will be the end of the tour .
