Itinerary Outline


Day  1 – Arrival to Tangier – Transfer to the hotel

Once you arrive at the Tangier airport, our driver/tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 2 – Tangier – Chefchaouen

Following a delightful morning Breakfast, we’ll commence our thrilling expedition from your hotel to the captivating city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the magnificent splendor of the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival at this enchanting blue city, you’ll have an entire day to leisurely explore its fascinating azure-washed walls. We’ll conclude the day with a soothing overnight retreat at a charming local hotel or riad.

Day 3 – Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After a delightful breakfast, we’ll kick start the second day of our adventure, heading toward the beautiful city of Fez. Along the way, we’ll stop by Volubilis, a popular UNESCO World Heritage Site known for some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa. Our thrilling journey continues to Meknes, a city rich with history and charm, as it was once Morocco’s capital during the rule of Moulay Ismail from 1672 to 1727. After immersing ourselves in the allure of Meknes, we’ll head on to Fes, where a peaceful evening awaits.

Day 4 – A Full Day To Explore Fez

After enjoying your breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of the city of Fez – the second largest city in Morocco after Casablanca, home to nearly a million people, and one of the country’s four imperial cities. The city is distinctively divided into three parts: Fez el Bali, Fez-Jdid, and the Ville Nouvelle. Fez el Bali, encircled by an imposing wall, is the oldest district with over 9,000 narrow streets and alleys. Fez-Jdid hosts the Mellah, known as the Jewish quarter, while Ville Nouvelle emerged in the period of French colonial rule. Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its old Medina, the largest worldwide. Hidden within its winding streets is the world’s first university, the University of Al-Karaouine, which was founded in AD 859 and is still operational today.

Day 5 – Fez – Ifrane Azrou – Atlas Mountains – Merzouga

Start your Sahara desert adventure after enjoying breakfast at the hotel. Your itinerary includes scenic spots like Ifrane, the Middle Atlas Mountains, and the cedar forests of Azrou, prime for capturing stunning images of Morocco’s untamed wilderness and wildlife. After immersing yourself in the cedar forests, journey on to Zaida or Midelt for a savory lunch. Post meal, appreciate the picturesque landscapes en route to the Ziz Valley, pausing for a photographic break before travelling onwards to Arfoud. On arrival at Merzouga, you’ll be greeted warmly and served a refreshing cup of tea. After checking into your hotel, take a breathtaking camel ride across the desert sands, with a pause to take in the enchanting desert sunset. Next, make your way to the desert camp, where you’re welcomed to try sandboarding. After a delicious dinner, relax to the tunes of local music by the campfire. Top off the perfect day with a peaceful stroll atop the dunes under a star-studded sky for a truly unforgettable stargazing experience.

Day 6 – Merzouga – Berber Families – Khamlia – Black Desert

The staff will wake you up early morning to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. Following this spectacle, you’ll embark on a camel ride back to your hotel in Merzouga for a refreshing shower and satisfying breakfast. Once fortified, we’ll set off on a journey to explore the villages scattered around the Erg Chebbi dunes, such as Hassi Labied and Khamlia. We may encounter locals displaying their desert foxes and come across desert reptiles and mammals.

Khamlia, renowned as the village of black people who were once Sudanese slaves, is our next stop. Here, you’ll be greeted with a cup of tea and the soulful sounds of Gnawa music. Our journey will then take us to a panoramic view of the golden dunes near the Algerian border. We’ll pause for lunch under the shade of a tree, before visiting a nomadic family. You’ll meet the family members, learn about their way of life, and savor the taste of a nice cup of tea.

Following this, we’ll journey to the sites of black volcanic rocks and make our way to Lake Yasmina. The adventure concludes with a return to Merzouga and an overnight stay in a hotel located near the dunes.

Day 7 – Merzouga – Erfoud – Dades Gorges

Having savored breakfast at the hotel around 8:00 AM, our exploration begins with a refreshing trip to Rissani, nestled in the scenic Tafilalt region on the fringes of the Ziz Valley. Taking a respite for a comforting cup of tea, we’ll seize the moment to capture the beauty of the Ziz Valley through our lenses. From here, our journey amplifies as we traverse the stunning Todra Gorges and meander across the majestic Atlas Mountains. Our path then leads us to the mesmerizing Tinghir Oasis and eventually through the remarkable Dades Valley. Here lies our resting destination for the night, enveloped in the captivating aura of the Dades Gorges.

Day 8 – Dades Gorges – Ouarzazete – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech

After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our journey at around 8:00 AM, traveling to Ouarzazate via the tranquil Skoura Oasis. We’ll pause at the panoramic view of the Taourirt Kasbah and take another break near the Ouarzazate Film Studio. Continuing our adventure, we’ll make our way towards the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you’ll enjoy lunch. Venturing forth after lunch, our journey will take us across the majestic High Atlas Mountains and through the spectacular Tizi’N’Tichka Pass. We expect to arrive in Marrakech in the evening, concluding our day’s voyage.

Day 9 – Full Day To Explore Marrakesh

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a captivating tour of Marrakech, guided by a local expert. Witness the splendor of the renowned Koutubia Mosque, imbibe the vibrant aura of the Medina and its bustling souks. Then, delve deeper into the city’s treasures, exploring the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the stunning Saadian, the breath-taking Bahia Palace and the lush Majorelle Gardens. Wrap up your day with an enchanting night at a Riad situated in the Medina. Avail accommodation at either a refined and comfortable riad or hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 10 – Marrakesh – Essaouira

Following breakfast, we’ll set off on a journey to Essaouira – a gem that exudes the charm of a traditional Portuguese harbor, boasting exemplary Moorish and Portuguese art. Renowned for its exceptional woodwork, Essaouira is a treasure trove featuring the silver souk, art galleries, and picturesque islands. Our morning will be filled with exploration of the fishing port, Medina, and vibrant artistic complexes. As afternoon arrives, immerse yourself in the allure of this quaint town by wandering through its bustling souks, engaging in the animated fish auctions, and marveling at the distinctive blue and white seaside houses. The landscape is further enhanced by the sweeping swirls of golden sands. We’ll rest for the night in a classic riad.

Day 11 – Essaouira – El Jadida – Casablanca

Following breakfast at our hotel, we’ll embark on a scenic journey towards Casablanca, the economic heartbeat of Morocco. With a route that traverses the enchanting coastal road, we’ll be treated to breathtaking views. Our sojourn will include stops at Safi and Oualida, where we’ll indulge in exquisite seafood. After lunch, our voyage will continue to Casablanca, taking us through El Jadida, formerly known as Mazagan. This historic medina, established by the Portuguese in 1513, is a site to behold. We’ll reach Casablanca by early evening, where we’ll dine and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 12 – Casablanca – Rabat – Tangier

Once we’ve had our breakfast, we’ll set off for Tangier, but not before we pay a visit to the Hassan 2 Mosque. We will be traveling via Rabat, Morocco’s official capital. Following lunch, we plan to explore the city, with the Oudayas Kasbah and the Hassan 2 Tower on our itinerary. After soaking in Rabat’s rich culture and history, we’ll resume our journey to Tangier. We anticipate arriving in Tangier by evening, where we will rest for the night at a charming local riad or hotel.

Day 13 – A Full Day To Explore Tangier

Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a guided tour through the vibrant city of Tangier. Your local guide will lead you to the Grand Socco, best known for its charming cafes and bustling bazaars, the Spanish Church, jewelers’ shops and an art center that narrates the city’s captivating social history. Journey further into the heart of the Medina by exploring the Petit Socco. Next, you’ll visit the magnificent Grand Mosque, built on the site of a former Portuguese cathedral. The tour extends to the ornately decorated Kasbah, adorned with mosaics, decorative stucco, and intricate wood carvings. Below the twilights, walk along the ramparts as you make your way to the Musée de Carmen-Macein, home to an impressive collection of works by notable artists including Picasso, Max Ernst, and Georges Braque. The day culminates in a peaceful overnight stay at a local hotel or Riad.

Day 14 -Tangier – Transfer To The Airport

The tour will conclude with us transferring you to the airport.
