Itinerary Outline


Day 1 – Arrival To Fez – Transfer To The Hotel

Upon arrival to Fez airport our driver / tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel 

Day 2 – Full Day To Explore Fez

After breakfast you will visit the city of Fez with a local guide . Fez is the biggest city after Casablanca with a population of approximately 1 million also one of the country’s four imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fez el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall, where are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fez-Jdid or the new Fez, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter and the Ville Nouvelle the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation.Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its Medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies, the oldest university in the world is located; The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859. This University is still operating nowadays .

Day 3 – Fez – Chefchaouen

After you enjoy your breakfast we will drive to the north of Morocco through the Rif Mountains, arriving at Chefchaouen, The blue pearl of the north where everything is set dramatically against the mountains. Things to see among many are the blue-tinted houses and cobbled streets with mountainous backdrop which create a photographic setting. Overnight in a riad / hotel.

Day 4 – Chefchouane – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat

After breakfast our journey will start towards volubilis via Ouazzan and other rif villages. Volubilis embodies the roman ruins and presents a unique archaeological site of the Moroccan history, after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city, one of the four imperial cities since the 17th century, where we will hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, bab el mansour. Later on we continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco where you will spend the night.

Day 5 – Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakesh

After having breakfast at the hotel we will visit Hassan II Mosque with the finest work Islamic craftsmen can produce, and we learn how historically important Casablanca was for Morocco. later on we drive to Marrakech also known as ” the red city ” , we will visit the famous Djemaa el Fna Square you can find the food stalls, snake charmers, water-sellers, travelling musicians and acrobats, it is a place of entertainment for both Moroccan and overseas visitors. Overnight in a hotel / riad

Day 6 – Full Day To Explore Marrakesh

After you enjoy breakfast at the hotel you will start a guided tour of Marrakech with a local guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, night at a Riad in the Medina. Overnight in riad / hotel DAY 7 – Marrakech – Essaouira day trip – Marrakech After breakfast we will depart for a day trip to Essaouira . Essaouira is extremely relaxing with its white washed houses with painted shutters, artisan’s workshops, boatyards and fishermen provide a marked contrast to Marrakesh. After lunch you have free time for some shopping, a relaxing walk along the beach or maybe a camel ride, a walk to the harbour and ramparts and perhaps a boat trip before you drive back to Marrakesh . Overnight in a riad / hotel in Marrakech

Day 8 – Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Departure will be in the morning crossing the High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka pass (alt 2260 m).On the road you will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou where many movies have been filmed including: The Gladiator, The Mummy, Babel, Tea In Sahara… etc. Later on, we continue to Ouarzazate “The African Hollywood” where you will visit the film studios, providing diverse backgrounds for renowned movies. We visit also Kasbah of Taourirte, then carry on the road via the road of Thousand-Kasbahs through Skoura where you will stop to see a beautiful Kasbah named Amredhyle situated in the stunning Skoura Palmery. In the evening, overnight in Hotel/Riad.

Day 9 – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Sahara Desert

After you enjoy your breakfast we will drive southwards Todra Gorges; it’s a trench of gigantic rock walls that, change color and run through the High Atlas Mountains creating an absolutely magnificent spectacle, lunch in the right place is an optional!. Carry on the road to Merzouga crossing Jorf palm Trees and the town of Erfoud the capital of Fossils and Dates in Morocco, From this town you will head for an adventure of a lifetime experience on the Paris-Dakar Off-road to reach the impressive high sandy dunes of Merzouga where your camel trekking will starts in steps through the vast sea of the dunes, Arriving the bivouac in a fabulous oasis, Dinner will be served under a starry-sky and spend the night at a desert camp

Day 10 – Merzouga Sahara Desert – Midelt – Fez

The staff will wake you up early in the morning to watch the beautiful sunrise then ride the camels back to Merzouga, you will take a refreshing shower and breakfast, before we start our journey to Fez. we will stop for an hour to Visit the Souk of Rissani, which preserves some of a bygone Sijilmassa empire. You will get to see the local art crafts, and different quarters of the Souk. We travel afterwards via the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains till we arrive to Midelt. After lunch we will leave Midelt driving through the cedar forests of Azrou and stop to see closely and possibly hand feed the monkeys. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’, before we arrive early evening in Fes. Overnight in a Riad / Hotel

Day 11  – Fez – Transfer To The Airport

We will transfer you to the airport before your departure flight and this will be the end of the tour .
